Captivating scene for me in many ways...the mist, the single tall tree in foreground, the horizontal lines across the frame produced by the foreground hedges and repeated by the haze veiled tree line in the background, the rusty colored dirt with soft 'S' curves and then of course the pleasant pheasant making an appearance!
I really like it! +1
Another nice one, David

Just my sort of shot, Andrew.
I love these framed views through doors and arches.
You've captured this one beautifully with just the right exposure balance.
Great work :D

Whilst I agree that a 'girlfriend' is involved I surmise that this may NOT have been a fight but 'something else' !
Whatever - nice capture

Nice take, Maria - hope the outing has managed to 'blow away some cobwebs' and you're feeling a bit better now.
This river looks just a normal winter level - lets hope it stays that way !

Hi Donna
Is this the same image as before but just not cropped the same ?
Whatever, it's a nice effect and that pattern on the window looks just like a commercial 'obscure glass' design !
As Maria said, we also have severe floods in Northern England and the rain has also now come to us further South.

You had a lucky escape there, David !
Those 'tree rats' pack quite a bite !
Great shot

Well spotted and taken, Donna.
Another example of 'carpe diem' in action - if you see something that 'catches the eye' then shoot it !
