Another great one Andrew! And again ! Lovely shot, capturing the atmosphere. Best wishes Peter

John, These are 3 beautifully sharp images. How did you achieve that with the relatively low shutter speeds ? Did you use a tripod ? My shaky old hands would never get anywhere like these hand-held ! (Even with Pentax SR !) Lovely photos Peter

Well spotted ! Although I think it's actually an Owl ? Nice exposure Peter

I agree, it looks like something out of a 1960's Sci-Fi movie. Regards Jeremy Yes I second that, but again perhaps we are just showing our age ? Then again, isn't this exactly what PhotoShop is for ? Alternatively, could you try from a different viewpoint to hide the monstrosity behind the tree ? At least you've got your camera fixed to get the colour back !!! All the best ...

You need to get that camera checked over, Larry, all your recent shots have come out B&W and faded around the edges ! Seriously though - another fine one with some good PP. All the best Peter

Well, Larry, I DID say "what will we get from you next?" and now I'm speechless ! Certainly creative ! All the best Peter

My, my, Stan. You really do have a 'bee in your bonnet' ! How long did it take to catch THIS one ? I admire your persistence and patience Wings, legs & antennae all present ! Flight checks completed. I note that you DID up the ISO ! Well done. Best regards Peter

That is incredibly sharp and clear detail - almost looks like a paper cut-out ! How did you get it (and the flower stem) to stay so still to achieve that result ? Well done. Peter

Hey Larry, have you come over all melancholy for the 'old days' ? First it's the 'Harold Wilson' shot now Downton Abbey ! What's with all this 'antique stuff' ? Still, lovely composition and effective PP. What will we see from you next ? All the best Peter

I'm waiting for someone to say "Who's Harold Wilson?" Nice one, Larry. I suppose WE are simply revealing our age ! Times may 'ave been 'ard - but at least things were less complicated ! Cheers Peter
