Collect+ is a joke though, it took 3 weeks to send a parcel within 20 miles... We can understand when a parcel is lost in transit, in this case, they lost it at pick up location itself

FWIW, with several other people, I run the Hillingdon U3A Digital Photo Group and most of us used to use (mainly) PS Elements, but we have now identified lots of cheaper and/or free software that, in many cases, works pretty much just as well for most of the run-of-the-mill PP tasks.
For example:
- "FastStone Image Viewer" is one of our favourites (I use it regularly) which does pretty much all the commonly required tasks except correcting converging verticals, but that can done in the free basic version of Corel Aftershot 3 + one of the free plugins.
- Then there are other free ones like "Topaz Studio Free". ON1 "Effects", Photomatix etc., etc.
OK, they don't generally have the "workflow" capabilities of Lightroom (etc.) but they will do pretty much all most "dabblers" will need on a day-to-day basis.
Then, if you want to get something more capable, there is SERIF "Affinity Photo" for just under £50 - that get's rave reviews in many mags & online reviews (one of our Committee members was one of the Beta testers, and is a great fan!)
