Yes I'm sure their both fine companies, maybe I've just been unlucky twice in the one lens, and I'm sure they would love to put things right by me, wouldn't they!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Following a battle with Warehouse Express And Sigma lenses , if anyone is thinking of using either think very before you part with your money, shall we say both want your money but when it goes wrong neither want to know.
which is about all I can say at the moment as Solicitors are dealing with both companies on my behalf , that aside Tamron have been very helpful

Sam Haskins, David Bailey, Don McCullin, Jane Bown have all used Pentax at some point.

Can't see that it matters at all very much, it is the photograph that matters.
It doesn't matter, I just never see Pentax pushed the way the others are, when really Pentax should be proud of what they do,I'm old enough to remember when Pentax was at the top of it's game in the film days, and it would be nice to see Pentax advert on the TV, at the moment Canon have the 550d advert on, and I have to say it a better than great advert.

Thank you for all the replies, on my KM the settings are Vibrant with adjustments to Hue , and saturation, D-range on, sharpness to fine +3,using J-peg, at 10mpx and quality at 3 star and that's about it.
Thank you all again for replying to my post, have a blameless weekend, and enjoy the weather & your photography.

John I'm going to try those settings in my KM post some and see how close my 10.2 sensor compares with a 14.5 sensor, I've got plenty chances of taking pictures Friday ,as I'm off to Norwich for a look around including the museum.

All interesting comments,I own the KM mainly because it's a uncomplicated camera, and all the family can use it, to be honest for me there's not a lot of difference between the two modes,I use a 8gb card so there's no issue there with file size, the raw processing can be done within the camera, I sometime use raw +jpeg,on raw with all that information the buffering time seems endless, especially if something is going on and you want to take the next picture.
I'm very interested in the comments on the K20d as this is my next move, the more I get into photography.
Thanks for been honest everyone, I'm sure the argument will continue on this subject in the forums and magazines.
