Following a battle with Warehouse Express And Sigma lenses , if anyone is thinking of using either think very before you part with your money, shall we say both want your money but when it goes wrong neither want to know.
which is about all I can say at the moment as Solicitors are dealing with both companies on my behalf , that aside Tamron have been very helpful

If solicitors are involved then it would be best not to air the matter in public until the legal process is resolved.

Yes I'm sure their both fine companies, maybe I've just been unlucky twice in the one lens, and I'm sure they would love to put things right by me, wouldn't they!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone,
The solicitors said it not worth pursuing, this case although it seems they have gotten away bad practise, the courts would say to put it down to experience.the cost of getting the lens cleaned is going to be £28.00p plus a full service and the lens set up correctly, so it will be like a custom built lens, of course Sigma wouldn't honour the guarantee I suppose, however seeing they way they perform so far that wouldn't be any loss, I think in future I'll by Pentax own lens , depending on who makes them.
and I think in future I'll give the little man a chance although this may cost a bit more, right moving on, and my rant over.

PC - once you have had the lens cleaned &c, why not use the small claims court? Do it yourself and if they bother to turn up you can face them down.

Sigma do actually have a reputation for decent customer service - nice to see them sorting this out!

You do have to wonder how much they'd have saved if they'd just taken it back and fixed it in the first place, without legal experts getting involved...

Or maybe they seen in their records I've been a customer for around 20 years and about to jump ship. If they do read the forum Thank you, it's got further up the line of managers, for what ever reason it's restore calm and faith in a brand I've been happy with.
