I find the images from the Sigma much better than the Pentax, not to say the images from the Pentax are bad at all.
I actually prefer the size of the Sigma VS the Pentax, I also like the silent focusing and of course it's f2.8, which is nice.
I pretty much only keep my Pentax because it's weather sealed and I can pop it on the K3ii if its raining.
Do you have any comparisons shots showing your problems?

He knows though, he's "got connections".

Not worrying so much as not spending money where it may not be necessary. I am going to imac because I really don't like windows 10 and the imac just appears to be designed for the professional user. I have just downloaded a trial windows version of the 2018 software I use for work which I will buy for the imac and bizarrely it does things quicker on my old machine than my 10 year old software. So I am pretty much decided on a 16 GB RAM with 1TB memory.
fyi, 'memory' is RAM, not storage space!
MacOS works out what you use most often and moves it on-the-fly to the SSD so it loads quickly.
The disadvantage is that you don’t get to decide this, and the SSD part is relatively small. The advantage being that you get the 1tb space and for the most part it will appear nice and quick.
I would prefer a 256 GB SSD, and then invest in a large external HDD, but it is down to personal preference.
Whatever you go for, you won’t be disappointed, you’re getting a lovely fast machine either way, you just have to work out how much you value the faster read/write speeds vs internal storage space.
Out of interest have you ever used a machine running on an SSD vs HDD?

Sounds to me like a well specced desktop PC would be better suited. You can in the future expand the RAM, storage, graphics, whatever you want. You said you're using Lightroom too, which is cross platform.
I'm not a Mac hater by the way I actually use one every day by choice, they're great machines, I love my Mac Book Pro, but anything that demands real power (gaming, photo editing, 3D modelling) I go straight to my PC.
If it's power you're after, you're going to have to pay through the nose for it with a Mac.

I invested in some good quality small combination pad locks to use with the bag if I feel the situation warrants it, for example; I will use the padlocks in Disneyland but not at the local zoo.
The bag itself is great, its an older model so has no AW features or the laptop compartment but the convenience of being able to sling it onto my left shoulder and get the camera out of the side is great.
I've had it about 7 years now, it's been on back from the Grand Canyon to Eiffel Tower and hasn't let me down, I'll definitely be buying Lowepro again when the time comes, maybe in another 7 years!

Is there a reason you need to adjust WB when shooting RAW? I always leave mine on auto and just change it in post if needed.
