from my local beach!

Pentax K3ii, DA* 16-50mm, ND64, tripod

Police chopper was flying about with the loud hailer going giving a public announcement saying something that I couldn't hear. Someone said there was a man on the loose and to lock all doors and not go outside so SWMBO calls me saying get the hell back to dodge. I'd literally just set up, so snapped this image off, and then legged it back home. By the time I'd got home, fast walk, 5 minutes later, camera on tripod still, it was a false alarm and it was a 13 year old girl that had gone missing but had been found! 5 minute wonder image here then!

These beach shots of yours are fantastic.
They make me wish I was close to one so I could TRY and get some shots like yours.
Another super shot.
I know what i like, If not always why.

Agreed on that and I am so I've got no excuse!
Can't see how they considered a lost 13yr old could be mistaken for a crazed man on the loose.

You have really got the blues covered there ...a lot of interest and variety in a quite narrow colour range. The composition is very good too with those two balancing rock shapes on each side.

I like the contrast between the image and what was going on around you, lovely photo too.
