I didn't think taking photographs was this complex. Surely, rules on still life or any other genre shouldn't be this rigid.

Hi Chris,

some bad news I'm afraid. I have searched high and low and can't find the old film camera. I can only think a family member has borrowed it or its been sent to the charity shop with the other junk.

If its any consolation there are load of film cameras on ebay at giveaway prices. There is currently a SP 1000 at £6.99! Since digital has improved people are not giving film cameras house room and there are 100's of bargains to be had if that's what you're after.

Paul, I haven't been a member long enough to post private messages. But I would very much like to take up on your offer. I am working in Chesterfield next week so can come whenever you like after work. 07943 828251.

Fantastic set of shots Andrew - as always. Would any improvement be made with multiple lenses at your disposal? It is not the equipment that makes the photos as we know. I just take the 35mm macro limited with my K5 cycle touring because of the lack of weight and bulk. Many years ago it was a MX and a 50mm lens that was in the panniers. Using one lens means there is more time to concentrate on the basics.

Paul
