What are peoples thoughts on the K 5 as I have a K 7, that is a problem.
Am onto my third K 7 as my second K 7 has trouble with the second sensor that has been installed.My camera store has offered to swap it for a new K 7 that they have in stock at no charge.
What are Pentax K 5 users views on paying the difference and going to a K 5.

I purchased a K-7 body July 2010.
Initially some images had a problem with verticle banding, returned the camera to the store that it was purchased from.
A week later camera was returned to the store from the wholesalers, all problems fixed.
Almost 4000 images later, to date no problems.

They repaired the camera, that's ok with me.
I also have a K10D, DA 18-250, Takumar 100 macro, Zeis 135

Thanks for everyones suggestions about my camera, and how the problem may be fixed.
Camera went back to suppliers, came back a week later.
I have taken abouut 700 shots since then and all the images so far have been perfect, the image quality is quite amazing.

That was a quick response to my topic, unfortunatly formating doesn't work, appears to be a faulty camera.

Problems with images taken with the K 7.
Purchased K 7 beginning of month, a lot of the images have very fine verticle lines, has anyone else had the same problem?
Camera is going back to suppliers later this week to be checked.
