I was going to recommend Pictures to exe, but Graham beat me to it.....

It seems to be the standard software for slide shows at camera clubs, and works very well.

The K10D was indeed the first to have TAv and Sv modes. As womble says the only other models that have both these controls are the K20D, K-7, K-5 and the 645D.

The ones with just Sv mode are:-
K200D/K-m/K-x/K-r

Of course thay all have Av,Tv,P,M and green modes too.....

I hope this helps.

Doh!

Fair enough.

Well in that case a second hand 16-45 will be the best.

It's all very well recommending the 10-20mm, 10-24mm, 15mm, 8-16mm etc etc but it may be worth noting Matt is currently looking at a £130 17-35mm which should give everyone an idea of budget.
Good point, but the reality is that a budget of £130 will struggle to get superwides for APS-C. The closest will be the Siggy 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC second-hand. There should be plenty about as it has a popular and cult following no matter the mount, so those who bought one and got either bored or changed cameras, will sell them. Other than that the only other choice will be the DA16-45, again second-hand.
Matt might be lucky to get £130 for his 17-35, and then add either around £50 for a second-hand 16-45 or up to £100 extra for the 10-20.
It's the cold reality, but is worth spending an evening trawling the net for one.

The Siggy 10-20mm is excellent, especially for the price. I have the F4-5.6 EX version, and I have always been happy with its performance. There is also the F3.5 version which is more expensive but is faster and has the silent motor, but unless you really need a slightly faster lens at those focal lengths and have a desperate desire to have silent focusing, then the earlier and cheaper model will suit just fine.

I have heard that the Tamron 10-24 is pretty good too, but I have not tried it.

Oh hold on, get rid of it, give it to me, I will find a very good home for it......
That's the thing, I have a da* 50-135 f2.8.. sharp wide open, nice bokeh and as well as being a zoom it has auto focus but it is a bit large.

The 85 is nice, at f2 though it can have some crazy fringing but seems much better at f2.8 but then my da* 50-135 is already happy there.

Ill just have to play around with it more I guess and see.. I do love the size of it.
I know what you mean, the 50-135 is a stunning lens, beautiful rendition and sharpness, in fact it is my primary portrait lens. But, there is something about a small fast short tele that gives you even better results for portraits. And as an added bonus, faster too. The 85mm is considered the best lens for this, even on APS-C. Yes it is cropped, but it still an 85mm and will act as such. CA? well most old lenses suffer from this on various levels, but post processing will get rid of this quite happily.
Seriously, keep the 85mm F2 and use it more. You may find it a perfect compliment to the 50-135, for those times when the latter is just too big, and a nice small fast portrait prime will do the job better. The Samyang might feel just as big and you may feel that the M-85 was just as good and miss it.

I voted yes, but there is a caveat. We need some decent long primes too.
I don't mean exotic stuff Like 400mm F2.8, but long and faster than the existing Sigma big boy zooms that you can get on the Pentax mount.
This would mean

400mm F4 ish (no slower than F5.6)
500m F5 ish (no slower than F5.6)

They would not be cheap, but then again, they would be a lot cheaper than your CaNikon lenses, if a tad slower. Still they would give you better performance than a Siggy zoom at those lengths.

Thanks all for your comments and voting.
It seems that the Pentax is the better lens when it comes to IQ, but most of you who have it say in lower light it does hunt more than expected at 50mm and beyond. The third option of the Tamron 17-50mm seems an interesting option, although it does not have the reach of the others, it could be a better option to replace my 16-45mm. So I will look into this.

Once again, thanks all for your input.
