Some good news, Calumet UK is unaffected by the USA situation, so although they don't really sell Pentax at all, they do sell excellent Studio accessories.

As for the complex tax system of online retail which I won't go into, The sad fact is that people will buy online without actually handling the product. Now that works with say a book. But something like a Camera, it is just wrong. How do they know that something like brand A camera will be suitable for them as opposed to Brand B, just by looking at some pictures and seeing some (biased) youtube review? Of course they can't.....
But the convenience of clicking away on the laptop and actually being lazy to an extent of not going out and trying, only hurts the high street.

The bright side though is that the likes of New-Jessops, SRS, Park, et al, are starting to get wise to this, and are offering the same price as the online giants, and provide things like delivery to a local shop to try etc.
Will I buy camera gear from Amazon? Not a bit of it.

As an aside, I was in a certain high street store and in ill informed salesperson said when I mentioned SRS, that they sell grey imports. Of course I had to put him straight quite firmly that all stock is UK sourced. Needless to say he was humbled.......

Nobody else makes a 43, 31 and 77 but Pentax.....
Sorry, could not resist.

In all seriousness, Pentax do have a profound ability to make a stunning 55mm.

Prague, A great city. VERY photogenic.

Some tips (as some have been mentioned)

Avoid the centre Wenceslas Square and a couple of blocks around it for food and drink. More than two blocks is fine.
Get a travel pass, cheap and the trams are the best in Europe for where they go.
Old Town - So photogenic, as is lesser town across the river.
Lennon Wall, near the river. You must get some photos of it.
Try Uludvika on Nadradnzi, great food and beer.
Oh the Beer. You MUST try the Budvar black beer, it is divine...Mind you ALL beer in Prague is superb.
Aviation museum at kbely, is well worth it, if you have time.
Get up to the castle (by tram) for superb views of the whole city and the red roofs.
Take the Furnicular to Petrin for a "mini Eiffel tower" with great gardens.

To be honest, there are lots to see and do in Prague. It is one of my favourite cities.

No doubts John!!!, but why buy a - Q7 when a Q5 might be round the corner - and yes as far as I can see there is no body development on the Road Map, but still worth asking for some speculation.
So far from what I have heard here, I will probably get one next year and maybe even go for a Pen Adaptor. Might have to sell a bit of Glass to fund it all though.
It would be interesting to know what the largest sensor the Q lenses can take. When the Q came out it had the 1/2.3" sensor. Who knew that these lenses would work happily with the larger 1/1.7" sensor of the Q7? No-one to be honest. It came as a nice surprise to all of us. Given that the space within the camera makes the former sensor very tiny, and the latter not much bigger, what are the odds of, say a 2/3" or even a 1" sensor in the tiny Q in the future? Pure speculation I admit, but a 1" Q body and it is bye bye RX100.......

I wish there was an FA*135 Womble, but no hope there. What I should have said was the FA* lenses, like the 24mm, 85mm, 600mm, 250-600mm etc.

Although the F's are ugly as sin, my 28mm is optically superb, and having a different glass spec to the FA28mm, it seems a superior lens, possibly the best 28mm Pentax made. No wonder they fetch good money.

You won't sway me, I still think the F's are pig ugly, don't like the focus ring and the style (grey with red lettering) is VERY 80's.
Still the FA's are not much better but the small primes are cleaner looking. Mind you the FA limiteds are beauties.

Still in the end, they are Pentax lenses and I do love my F28mm and FA50mm

Now if only Pentax could bring back a nice fast 135mm that does not look like the F135 or FA135, as both of them are a serious breach to design....

Edit:- I must not forget the FA* - Beautiful......
