Can't say that I have much experience with gimbals, but mainly driven by cost vs projected use, I purchased one of the Beike BK-45s and although with limited use so far I must say that I am quite happy with it. It feels solid enough with my Sigma 150-500mm mounted.

I wish that I'd paid this price when I bought mine!

If Adobe follow previous release patterns, then it looks like we should be due for the next version sometime between now and October.

Will it become a "rental" release like their later releases?

Thought that I would post as a new thread to the previous Costco thread started by jeallen01 as more people likely to be interested if available from Amazon (and it's quite a bit cheaper).

Good price at the moment, never sure how long it will stay at that price with Amazon.

For what it's worth, popped into nearest Costco last night and they had poster displaying £19 off normal price, giving price of £37.18 inc. VAT.

A great set, with 8 & 11 the pick of the bunch for me. Thanks for posting.

I actually missed out on getting a ticket as they sold out so these were taken from a field just outside (the owner charges £10 to park for the day).
As you can see from your pictures, there are advantages to not being on the airfield itself as the flying displays must maintain separation from the crowd line and cannot manoeuvre over the crowd, but there is nothing to stop them from flying directly over the farm where you were. I doubt that you would have got no.11 from anywhere on the crowd line (stand by for loads of picture posts to prove me completely wrong). Oh, and it's much cheaper

Yes, nice set and No.12 gets the award from me as well.
It's difficult (for me anyway!:blush to get the trade off between shutter speed and lens shake with a longer lens, so I set up for higher shutter speeds for the fast movers and forget to adjust for the props. I think that you've caught the helicopters blade blur well. Always a pain shooting into a grey sky as well (doubly so with darker painted aircraft) to get good exposures.

Blimey, Dan Dare Airlines, takes me back to my dad taking me to Lulsgate (Bristol International now) airport as a kid to the public viewing area (remember when airports had them....) I can remember the Comet 4C's, Viscounts.....

Lens arrived this morning just before 11:00. Well packaged, everything intact and as described. Looking forward to giving it a try out.

What can I say, thanks Jim for a very smooth and rapid deal, a pleasure to deal with. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jim.

Thanks again,
Stu.

P.S. Thanks to dpm and Mirokujame for their unbiased levelheaded input to help with my decision
