There would always be LCE. I much prefer LCE, given the choice of these two main retailers. If Jessops went, maybe they could extend their reach a bit.
I agree, when looking for a new D-SLR about 3 years ago (I was considering both Pentax and Olympus) I visited both LCE and Jessops in Guildford.
Even then Jessops were stocking hardly anything other than Canon and Nikon. Their reaction to Pentax and Olympus was quite dismissive and there was nothing for me to handle. I didn't spend long in Jessops
LCE were quite the opposite, they had demonstration units of both cameras which I was able to take my time and handle. They didn't push either brand just politely putting forward the benefits of both. A chalk and cheese experience that I remember well.
I'm with you on that Greytop - I also live near Guildford and I also bought my K-7 through LCE there

Crikey, these shop assistants really talk Pentax down. Popped into one to see what they're pushing these days and she was so dismissive!

Much easier way than flipping, nicer looking as well. Do you possess a mirror?

Sounds like a request for a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

Regardless of what model you introduce it will always marginally impact on others =)

Consumers have strange behaviour though. If they have 3 things to choose from a disproportionate amount choose the middle model (thinking, well it's not the cheapest, nor a ripoff). Perhaps that's what they're thinking here. (Provided of course this doesn't turn out to be false, which under this particular nomeclature I suspect it is)

Ah, I couldn't understand what you were trying to say. Voor ons nederlanders is Engels dus een tweede taal en niet zo gemakkelyk. Crikey I havn't written Dutch in more than 30 years, hope that made *some* sense =).

Suggest you read up on the history . Obviously they've developed the heck out of it since, but its roots lie in film =)

Us web developers have used it since about version 3/4 or so, that's the earliest version I remember using. It was always the only non-vector graphics programme in town other than Paintshop & FW when it came out.

Fyi: Photoshop was aimed and invented as a tool to manipulate film - invented by Industrial Light & Magic.
