that still means you've seen one more Koala than I have. I like the way he's peering down at you.

I think I gave someone on here (I forget who) £60 for my PKA mount, and consider that I paid about the going rate.

They are one item which only seems to get more expensive.

it's the shutter sound I really love about the ME-Super. There's just none like it.

Welcome to the forum Brightstone! I hope you'll find it a helpful and friendly place.

Since you're new, you probably didn't spot it when you posted, but we have a classified adds section for buying and selling equipment. The Lenses forum is generally reserved for discussion of Pentax and Pentax fit lenses.

I'm sure one of the mods will be kind enough to move the thread for you.

Second hand camera, didn't come with lead or software.

Are the leads for the istDL easy to come by and do I need software to go with it, or does the PC see it as a removable drive?
It's a standard USB-MiniUSB cable, should be able to get one from any Maplins or PC World. Take the camera with you as there are a couple of variations on small USB (I think of them as mini and micro but not sure of the official names).

No software required as long as you're using Windows XP, Vista, Mac OSX (I assume) or a recent Linux.

Personally I still prefer a card reader though.

interesting. I wonder how the 43mm Ltd stacks up against the likes of the Sumicron

Does the eeePC have an HDSD compatable reader? Also, what is the device like for reviewing pictures? I am interested as this could be a good way to back up and review in the field.
That's exactly what I use it for, on rare occasions I've even processed RAW files with it. The reader is SDHC, and the screen, while small, is very good indeed. I have the first generation 2G eee, so I download to 8GB pen-drives. I have also picked up a third party massive capacity battery, which gives me about 6 hours run time.

I don't think they can have, since the K10D can't reach ISO 3200 and 6400
