Though higher speeds could mean you'd get a faster read when transferring the image files onto a computer etc.

Hi and welcome to this forum!

As you're in Canada have you looked at this Pentax forum:
link
there's loads of great information and people do buy and sell Pentax related kit on it. And here's a link to their user lens review
page:
link

I'm a member to both forums though I almost exclusively post on this one.

Hope that helps.

Cheers from the SW of England
Mike

I have a now rather broken K50 which gave many years of good service, it was nice and light especially with the Ltd primes! The K50 broke gradually and I'd always fancied a K1, the old lenses can be used in the native focal length, so eventually I got a second hand K1 Mark 1 via this forum, a fabulous camera, I'd shied away from the K1 ii as there was some negative comments due to it's 'baked in' noise reduction. But the main difficulty in use for me, especially as I've got older, is the sheer weight of the camera, I find that I don't carry it around anything like as much as I did the K50, my shoulders and neck just complain about the weight. In fact in the last 3 years I've tended to go back to an SLR camera, usually my ME Super and a few prime lenses of the era, it's so light in comparison. Having said that I've used the K1 many many times and there's no doubt it's a great camera, it's also had a lot of use imaging old family images to great effect. I've been sorely tempted by the K3iii or K3iii monochrome (I love monchrome) as I suspect they are the last gasp of the APS DSLR body, just like many things as they reach their peak performance they get overtaken by 'progress'!

So what's my take, either camera is great though I expect the K3iii has the edge on AF accuracy and weight, if you already have a a selection of the APS Pentax Ltd lenses then APS makes sense, if you really need the extra pixels the K1 gives you and can take the weight then that makes a lot of sense to, particularly if you major on landscapes.

Here's a link for the Pentax Optio P70 user manual in English from the Ricoh website in Japan:

It took me a couple of attempts to download this successfully.

Yes my vote is No. 2 as well!

Ah the many uses of a paperclip, I used one to eject the SIM carrier in my smartphone.
