Very nice set.
It's a shame to have to edit out all of the faces but then that is today's world!
The black and white shot is brilliant!

Good set. #4 stands out for me.

Why did you edit out faces?

Best regards

Forgot to say that I can see the CCD effect in this set, particularly 3, 6 and 7
But the b&w still steals the show

Lovely set of photos and i agree, the B&W really does steal the show

As with so many others, that B&W is something else. You really do have the 'eye' for capturing great images.

I was under the impression that as long as you weren't hassling anyone you could take photographs of people in a public space. If this is so, the need to blank out the faces of the folk in the kayaks is unnecessary.

I'm sure there'll be folk far more qualified and knowledgeable than me on this subject.

Thanks for the comments, appreciated.
None for my Wembury point shots tho ??

Re. Faces blurred out.
After taking 2 shots and finishing I was approached by a polite chap asking me not to photo the children. He explained his role (instructor and or teacher?) and I was OK with it. I have previously blurred a similar shot a year or 2 ago, and told him I would delete them, but decided to keep and blur.
I feel that I should never photo children, no big deal as mostly I do landscape.
Did read up just now on my rights BTW.

Ah, thanks for that, loadoftripe, makes complete sense. Absolutely agree with your approach. I'd be sensitive to that myself.

As others have commented - the B&W really stands out, it's just so good! The others are already a high standard, it's just that sometimes one catches your eye

The framing and edit on the B/W are amazing.

Return visit to the Walkway/gantry/bridge armed with the K1 mk2 and a SMC-M 28mm f2.8.

Firstly many thanks for the kind comments.

I took the old lens as the small 49mm filter thread size lens would hopefully get through the wire mesh security, and it did so no cropping required plus I have many times more pixels!
Tried to get as close to the original photo, here it is;

It's like a negative of the original when viewed side by side ☺
