Some crazy people have actually made it to the top - and got back down again. Some locations have a reputation or even an aura and this is one such. To me, it demands the mono treatment.
Well my Brother actual did climb the Matterhorn in 1974, here's a slide of him on the summit, apparently the actual summit is rather small!

Any more info would be helpful, e.g.: Film Type: B&W neg, Colour neg, B&W slide (unusual but does exist), Colour Slide, Polaroid. Film Size e.g.: 35mm or 120, other sizes are available both larger and smaller. Film Speed: a wide range of B&W speeds are available, Colour less so.

Have a look at for example:

Analogue Wonderland link

Nik & Trick link

There are quite a few other companies in the UK.

Thanks
Mike

Yes you are right they look really good with a dark surround, the first image grabs me most.

The second, I find the foregound rather distracting, perhaps try either reducing the foreground so that it the grass just starts being visible from the left hand side or cropping it out completely so focusing on the sea and sky.

Regards
Mike

I have the original SMC version which is one of my favourite lenses, great on my K-1 and really nice on my K-50. I generally use it with a lens hood, 49mm thread size.
