It will depend on how much light is getting in there, so a faster lens will be brighter. What lenses are you using? I have never seen a green tinge though.
When you look at the viewfinder it seems to have a green coating (like the coating on lenses) but looking through the viewfinder the image has a definite green tint, it doesn't affect the photos of course so I'm not too bothered but I thought the viewfinder should be brighter for a full frame camera

Having picked up the PLM, it's very clear that is the future of AF.
I do wonder if the old mechanical linkage has been the source of AF delays/bouncing to land on the accurate result. If you are fully after the fastest possible AF then we'll need to wait until Pentax releases other lenses with that technology.

Green tint with lenses on and off?
No idea why the green tint, so can't offer a solution. Just curious!🙄
