Green tint with lenses on and off?

No idea why the green tint, so can't offer a solution. Just curious!🙄
Yes, with or without lenses. The camera has only 4,000+ actuations so it's not been used much

Maybe it needs a clean ?
I've cleaned it all but it still has the green tint, I thought about changing the focussing screen

It will depend on how much light is getting in there, so a faster lens will be brighter. What lenses are you using? I have never seen a green tinge though.
85mm f1.4, DA*300 f4 and 50mm f1.8.
When you look at the viewfinder it seems to have a green coating (like the coating on lenses) but looking through the viewfinder the image has a definite green tint, it doesn't affect the photos of course so I'm not too bothered but I thought the viewfinder should be brighter for a full frame camera

Has anyone noticed the K1 (mk 1) viewfinder is not particularly bright for a full frame camera and also has a slightly green tint? My KP viewfinder is brighter than the K1 I have

Having picked up the PLM, it's very clear that is the future of AF.
I do wonder if the old mechanical linkage has been the source of AF delays/bouncing to land on the accurate result. If you are fully after the fastest possible AF then we'll need to wait until Pentax releases other lenses with that technology.
Pentax did say that the new PLM motors can not work (at least not yet) with the longer heavier lenses.
But the new 16-50mm I believe solves that by including several PLM motors to do the work rather than relying on just one.

Wow! that's interesting, so there's hope yet then
