Had 18" of snow on my shed roof this time last week ,lucky if there's an inch now ,very windy this morning with a wee bit of rain,snow is dissipating at a hell of a pace .
Am going to a place called Randolph's Leap tomorrow (google it) .should be a spectacular sight with all the snow thawing creating thundering rivers.

I'm having a wee look at this lens ,lens description is Sigma 24-70f2.8 DG ,with it being the non EX would this be worth going for or not.I had one of these before it was a fantastic performer ,only thing is ,it was the EX DG version .Oh it's very keenly priced .

It's not tack sharp,but to be honest what lens is at the biggest aperture , i'll see if i can find a photo i've taken .Bare with me

I had this lens for about two months ,it's a fantastic bit of kit ,the noisy focus didn't bother me at all in fact i quite liked it ,had to sell it when i decided to change brands .I'll definitely be looking out for another one .Can't rate it highly enough ,best bang for buck
