Thank you joostdh, much appreciated. Well, I already figured August was legit and I do think we might be able to come to an agreement as for the lens. Thanks again!
Mats

Thanks August. I just sent you a PM here on the forum.

I've had my K-1 for a couple of months and I´m glad I got the FA*28-70/2.8 as a zoom lens for it after shooting a Tamron 24-135 with it at first. The FA* is just good.
I compared it with my A 35-105/3.5 which is a good manual focusing lens but the FA* performs better and of course easier to use. I´m actually looking for the FA* 80-200/2.8 also. The screw drive autofocus seems bullet proof which might be the reason I´m not looking for a SDM-lens.
The FA 31/1.8 is great on the K-1, changing from a "normal" on the K5 to a wide angle on the K-1.
Speaking of wides... How cool was it to hook the old A 15/3.5 on the K-1 to get that really wide FOV again?!

Anyone willing to part with their FA* 80-200? Looking for one in good optical and mechanical condition. Signs of use and/or cosmetic issues will not bother me too much but it needs to work and perform good. I´m in Sweden.
Thanks,
Mats

Found one. Thanks!

Looking for a good copy of the SMC-FA* 28-70mm f2.8.
Thank you.

Found one. Thanks for all your offers. Happy shooting!

Looking for a SMC Pentax 20mm f2.8 in either A or FA version. Must be in good working order, good stand optically and mechanically. Cosmetic issues of minor concern (actually welcome as it will see frequent use).

Thank you for your offers. I have now found what I wanted.

Best,

Mats

Will consider a nice condition K1000 also

Thanks.
