The MX and K1000 are very well known and as we know, real work horses, but the KM is also a fully mechanical camera. I bought mine back in 1975 when it first came on the market and I still have it. I just felt I had to recommend it.

I owned one of the Porst 55/1.2 lenses and I was quite pleased with it. But one thing bugged me; When using it on my MZ-5, I couldnīt get the focusing indicator led to light up when foucusing. Not really a problem, but it felt like the lens was too soft wide open for the camera to register the focus.
Yes, Iīm just my guessing here, but when switching to an SMC 50/1.2 later on, the focus indication worked just fine with it.
The Porst 55/1.2 was made by Fuji, according to my camera rapair man. Heīs been in the trade for about 40 years, so I guess Iīll just have to take his word for it.
