There is a small difference in how the four way controler works. If you have centre or auto selection of AF points you can acces WB, drive, flash and iso directly without presing Fn first. This works also in Manual Focus regardles of your AF point selection mode. I found it really convinient.
You can also setup the switch aroung shutter to perform custom WB shot, also nice. Other differences are cosmetic. Oh, it doesn't have burst mode, but who cares about it.

RF 602 triggers are indeed dedicated but they still will work with Pentax. The dedication allows them to wake up flash at half press of a shutter. If you re using them with old flashes or ones that don't go to sleep after few minutes, they will be fine with any camera.
In fact i just ordered this exact triggerss from dealextreme.com. Good price but slooow shipping.
