When i saw a few weeks ago some lens of this kind and want to buy it i was always too late when i have asked and now nobody wants it??
It's only been on here for a couple of days. Give it a bit more time.

I'd say it's a good price for a great lens.

That doesn't look like oil on the blades to me. It's more likely that what you are seeing is one of the lens elements delaminating.

If that is the case, any possible repair will likely be expensive.

Oil on the blades simply makes the blades look shiny instead of matt and you'll probably find that the aperture mechanism is sluggish, especially when it's cold.

And your point is?

I had no need or desire to make a point. I just provided an informational link to the T's & C's of Facebook, that's all.

I have decided to remove all of the images I've posted on Facebook because I'm not willing for them to profit from my work or to use my images as they see fit.

I will continue to use Facebook for it's social networking facilities though. For that, it's excellent.

If you dont have the key to the door, you can stand there for ever but you wont get in.
Cheers
Dave
OK, here is the 'key' you need.

When you run Lightroom for the first time, by default you will be in the 'Library' module. Thereafter it will start in whichever module you were in when you closed it. The other modules, including Develop, Map, Book, Slideshow, Print, & Web can be accessed by clicking on the menu options in big bold letters at the top right of the screen. Just click on the word 'Develop' to get into the develop module having first selected a photo by clicking on it that you want to develop/adjust/ make changes to.

If you can't see these modules, there is something wrong with your installation.

I have hit the download button 20 times or more and got nothing.

Hi Dave sent you a link to your hotmail but also putting it here let me know if it works

link

This link is for the 30 day trial only
Sure does Stan.
Thanks

Dave
Hope you have better luck than me Stan, could not find my way out of the libaray. Have deleted it and gone back to elements
Cheers
Dave[/quote]That tells me that you've installed it, played with it for 30 minutes or less without learning how to use it, and given up because it doesn't do your thinking for you.

Lightroom is a very sophisticated and capable piece of software, you need to learn how to use it. You have a 30 day trial, not 30 minutes. Give it, and yourself, a chance.

Information like this is exactly why people don't give Lightroom a chance.

It's called shill bidding John, and I wasn't bidding against myself, neither was there any agreement/contact/knowledge of the seller. I placed a genuine bid which I would have honoured, had I won. Sadly, I didn't, which actually I'm quite happy about because now I don't have any explaining to do.

I feel absolutely gutted the lens went for what it did.
I did try to help. I bid £200 on it reasonably early to get it going, and it stuck on £200 for quite a while. I was getting a bit worried that I might win it at that, which would have been more than a little embarrassing.

As you've said, it's worth whatever it's worth. I couldn't help thinking that a 24 hour sale was a bit too short for high value items.

For me, the overriding factor when choosing a bag is comfort. I find shoulder bags painful to wear for more than an hour or two.

Even the Lowepro Sling shot 200AW bag I have uses only one sling, so all the weight is on one shoulder.

My preference is therefore a backpack style bag.

Kata, Lowepro, Tamrac, Crumpler, all have bags that might suit your needs. Only you can know what size you want. There are other makers as well but I can think of any more off hand, but I'm sure somebody will.

My preference is for a bag that has an additional, non-camera related, compartment for wet weather gear, a water bottle, snacks, etc.
