That's a bit puzzling . . . unless you've recently moved to North Korea. Can you see anything on www.ebay.co.uk ?

Or this one, cheaper, and free postage.

Have a look at the item in the link I've added to my previous post.

I don't know if this can be done easily, but looking at it a different way, have you thought of using a pair of short extension tubes, 1 x M42 + 1 x PK and somehow join them together?

If you use a TC, surely you'll have to remove the glass as well.

Part of this kit seems to be a female PK adapter to which the rest of tubes attach. It shouldn't be too difficult to fix this to a M42 tube or TC.

Some of you with AF540FGZ flashes might be interested in looking at these.

I've just bought one for mine and I have to say it seems very well constructed and improves the recycling time tremendously. It takes only about 2 secs, probably a bit less, to become ready after a 100% test discharge. I have freshly charged Sanyo Eneloop cells in the flash ( 4 ) and power pack ( 8 ).

I'm very impressed with it and look forward to giving it a proper test at the weekend. I'm hoping it will save me from having to change batteries in the flash half way through a night time race meeting.

Be warned that the seller's estimated shipping time from China to Spain was over optimistic, it's taken about a month to get to me. Other than that it's a nice bit of kit and very much cheaper than the Pentax branded pack.

Jessops online store seems now to be open for business.

As of right now, the "Any minute now . . . " has also gone.

Fat chance, wait 'til 9 o'clock tonight? I'm going to crack one open now. I should add that it's a bank holiday here in Spain and 22 degrees C, so I'm allowed, and have good reason, to crack one open now. Cheers . . .
