This lens is surplus to my requirements and is offered here before going on ebay next week.

It is unused and boxed. The box has been opened but the lens has never been removed from it.

I purchased it with my K20D and the Barcode panel is missing due to it being required for the cashback offer.

SRS has no stock, Warehouse Express have them listed at £160+ (who are they kidding). TechnikDirekt have it for around 150€, but no stock. Park Cameras have it for £113.

£69.00 incl postage, pay by cheque, Paypal, or bank transfer.

It'll be returning to UK with me on 4th Feb 2009 and I can post on 5th Feb.

PM if interested.

The Power zoom lenses require a body having the KAF2 mount to use the power zoom feature. The KAF2 mount has 2 extra contacts just inside the body.

First introduced on the Z series of film cameras, you could set a start and end zoom setting and the camera sorted it out for you. That function is missing from newer bodies, but the Power Zoom function still works.

To enable/disable power zoom on the lens, the zoom ring slides forward and back.

Power zoom does work on DSLR's equipped with the KAF2 mount, which is all of the SDM enabled bodies.

The most sensible starting price is 0.01p. Punters will punt at that starting price. Start it at a tenner and it'll sit there at a tenner until 5 secs before the auctions close when all the snipes occur.

They're probably made under licence . . . in Zimbabwe.

They'll be a few thousand pounds in a couple of weeks, grab a bargain while you can.

The Lubitel 166+ kit (don't know what's in the kit) is almost £300.00.

Keep your camera at above freezing if you can.

Make sure you can keep your battery/batteries, including a spare one/set, warm. At those temperatures, they'll not last long, if the camera functions at all.

Take a circular (rather than linear) polarizing filter with you, and use it.

Dial in about +1 to +2 stops exposure compensation else the snow will look grey (underexposed). Experiment on arrival to determine how much is needed.

Stay safe and enjoy your trip.

Yes. They are known to roost in trees.
