Using a monopod - SR on or off ? Posted in Pentax Digital Camera Discussion	Thanks everyone - the consensus seems to be to leave SR on, so that's what I will do!
Using a monopod - SR on or off ? Posted in Pentax Digital Camera Discussion	Personally, given a monopod whilst more stable than handholding but not as stable as a tripod, SR on for me. Although having said that, the subjects you've mentioned won't move, so why not use a tripod ?I'm going to the USA, so taking a monopod makes things easier.

FS: SMC DA 17-70mm f4 lens Posted in Classified Adverts	Having now acquired a new DA 16-85mm in the current SRS sale, I think it makes sense to part with this lovely lens. It has been my Standard walk about lens, and performs well. I bought it on the forum several years ago, and I immediately had the SDM replaced and the lens serviced by Johnsons Photopia. It has never missed a beat. I will post some images of the lens in due course. It is in unmarked condition and comes complete with lens caps, lens hood, and has the original box. The optics are perfectly clear. My price is VERY realistic at £125 delivered.

Lenses for Stratford on Avon Posted in General Digital Photography chat	I live quite close to SOA and regularly go there to take photographs. Very rarely do I seem to use anything longer than 60/70mm, so I think the lenses you mention will be AOK. (BTW I've got a mint virtually unused non HD 55-300 should you ever wish to buy!)

It is in mint condition complete with box, collar, pouch, caps etc.etc.. It has only been used a handful of times, so it is a waste of a fine lens. I believe that this lens can be used with the K1. My price for this virtually new lens is £710 delivered.
