Met @whatsthisbuttondo and collected the lens.
It is in lovely condition and complete with everything supplied when new.
I've had a quick play and it looks to be a super lens - I look forward to posting some images in due course.
Thanks to Peter for meeting me half way, and deciding to part with the lens! I know it was difficult.
Lovely chap to deal with, a pleasurable transaction.
Lots of gear - but not a lot of idea!

An unexpected (to me) bonus of this lens is it focuses down to about 2 metres which makes it great for larger insects, also setting my camera to back button focus makes great use of the focus buttons on the lens.

This was with the K3iii plus the 150 - 450 at max focal length equiv 695mm - 1/100th sec - ISO 200 - F5.6 - handheld
You just have to stand back a tad and then a tad more
