What a great way to get rid of those bad week blues, our eldest son keeps on asking me if I've had a pint of Trooper yet but so far I haven't been able to find anywhere that sells it.

Sainburys, tesco sell the original trooper, on offer at tesco 4 for £6.00. Just bought some tonight!

I've moved this to Your Photos as it must be about the image, but it's on its side, which doesn't really help.

The image at first glance gives the appearance that it has been uploaded as horizontal in error.
But I quite like the landscape portrayal. It is sharp with a nice bokeh. The colours look spot on.
If I was being really stupidly critical (like some Judges are!) perhaps the reflection of the flash is a tad too blown out.
How did you manage to attach the bottle to the wall?
All in all a nice photo Stu62. Great subject, well executed and probably enjoyed the contents of the bottle.

It's not on a wall, it's on a work surface in the kitchen and taken to look as if it is on a wall.Stu62

Perhaps a crop off the right edge just in the the shadow of the bottle ... This would move the subject off-centre more giving a positioning nearer the thirds gridline. There's some nice flash exposure control although I'd suggest an upwards angled diffuser providing bounced light would improve the flash reflections. There's some very nice colour tones on the label and it appears that the white balance setting has matched the natural ambient hues rather well .... It's clearly something we should all partake of a great deal more ...(that's bottle photography I mean ...)

If you click on the image it opens a larger version with the bottle almost the right way up????
