Im thinking I may not even bother with a filter now.
Just use a lens hood and then cap when the lens is not in use?
Or just go for a protector?

Am I right in thinking that the Samsung 12-24 is a 77mm filter as well as the 16-50 f2.8?
So I can use the same filters on both lenses?
Im just checking as I am in the process of buying a Samsung 12-24 which has filter size of 77mm and I am also looking to buy the Pentax 16-50 f2.8 as that uses the same filter size of 77mm.
So am I right in thinking the filters I buy will fit both lenses?

I have this lens from brand new!
Mint condition, with the original leather case and I have had a filter on it since new, I love it and it gives me great shots
