Definitely an excellent TC, well worth having in the bag. Surprising that it works very well with the 55-300mm, I've never tried it, perhaps I should.

Try it with the 100mm macro that's in your sign-off. You'll get more magnification, no change in minimum working distance and to my eye no loss of image quality. Seeing little things even bigger through the viewfinder is always fun (for me, at least).

Strangely, I was having the same thoughts while walking the dog this morning.

Not showing for me either . Instead of the image there is clickable text 'Comment Image'. Clicking on it brings up a page that looks like a photo page but instead of the photo has the text 'Forum Comment Photo'.

Black and white, bleak and cold. Not exactly an advert for the Yorkshire coast as a holiday destination, but they work for me . And they reinforce my Yorkshire wife's stories of biting cold winds blowing off the North Sea .

Are they wind turbines in the distance in the last one?

Just one little niggle. In the 2nd one, the horizon is tilted to the right, not by much but enough to notice. I don't mind a bit of curvature (well, the earth isn't flat!) but a tilt that would pour the North Sea into the Netherlands ... ?

Just had a look at the K3iii inspection report (not that I'm interested in the camera, I've got one). A lot of entries are N/A. To me, it reads like the camera body has just had a visual inspection and been switched on to check that it starts up. No lens attached, no photos taken. N/A makes sense if it actually means 'not tested' rather than just 'not present'. Confusing and definitely needs sorting out. But not a red flag to me, just a matter of not being clear enough what has actually been inspected and tested.
