Have a look at River Colne, Wivehoe, Essex, nobody has commented. Why?
I see, I'm at a loss too.
Perhaps others can explain,
All the best.

Funny, if I put a photograph of stained glass windows, nobody comments. Why?
As an observer, fairly new member, and feeling for your comments, and probably got the wrong handle on this, and shouldn't involve myself, and had a few beers etc, perhaps your being humorous, can you provide a link to your pics you refer to please?
All best intentions, regards LOT

Thanks John but alas no I have been mistaken, never seen Slaithwaite from that position or possibly any other.

Really, really nice shots. What village is that in number 3? Looks familiar.

That 28-105 is such a crackingly good lens isn't it? Excellent images.
Thank you Urbanmeister, yes it continues to show really good results better than expected.

Thought I would try the 'Soft Light' option again in RT that Flan mentions.
I increased the Contrast and applied soft light, so maybe totally incorrect but here is the result.
Taken 16th Oct. with the K1 mkII and Sigma super wide II, 24mm, 160th sec, f5.6, ISO 100. I also had an old Cokin A filter on which IIRC was a sepia which was either graduated or I just placed it to cover the sky. I of course lost the effect changing to B/W in RT.

I'm going for a Shag. It may be incorrect but I fancy it.

Out for a walk on Tuesday and saw this little fella, I'm not sure if it is a Cormorant as it seemed so small, could it be a Shag? He was not shy and I could get unusually close, luckily as taken with the KP and DFA 28-105 ED DC WR with a CPL.
