Mint condition complete with standard 52-67mm adapter plus a useful extra 43mm to 49mm stepping ring. Definitely the cheapest way to try macro-photography and the lens is of a very high quality.

£30 including shipping.

Thanks very much again to Andy. I've only rolled this out of the box once so am selling on, asking same as what I paid ie £30 with postage. Mint condition.

If you are dealing with the most cash rich company on the planet think higher, these marketing boys have to spend to make it feel right for themselves.

Nobody ever got fired for hiring one of the top five accountancy firms for a project did they?

Get yourself a dual monitor setup? Makes life so much easier in all sorts of ways and its easy to set up. Would have saved you this trouble.

I'm married to my K30, the K3 is temptress. Am I being unfaithful if I even think about it?

Not sure what "diaphragm mechanism" is? That which actuates the lens diaphragm?

Update again. The camera has now been returned to my sister in the UK from Johnsons Photopia. I haven't tested the results but understand the technician was able to replicate the fault so that was a huge relief with the postage effort and all.

The report is very quick and vague (ha reads like a Pentax firmware update change log) :
REPLACED DIAPHRAGM MECHANISM- ADJUSTED & CALIBRATED- CLEANED- CHECK & TEST

I have no idea where or what a body Diaphragm Mechanism is, but hopefully it does the trick. Others appear to have reported an Aperture Motor fault but I'll know when I get the camera back to New Zealand later in the month.

Johnsons Photopia were quick and easy to deal with.
