Nice! Hard to beat Whitby as a photogenic place and your B&W shots in particular stand out. If I may be so bold .... a 16x9 crop to the last one would turn that into a classic Whitby image too.

Thanks for your comments, folks - always good to walk in this area, but in conditions like these it’s almost “otherworldly”.

No more before Christmas! Finally processed the last batch - a walk mainly looking over the Colne Valley and Marsden Moor towards Pule Hill in fabulous light. Hope these appeal - K1 + FA 28-105.

A couple of days later the frost was even heavier, with a dusting of snow, too. Made for a lovely walk in the most wonderful light! With a camera, of course - K1 + FA 25-108.

Hard to tell with some of this set - the frost was heavy enough to take away almost all of the colour in the landscape. Hope these appeal. Comments welcome, as always. K70 + DA 16-85

One reason for our visit at that time (apart from family) was to see the Lindisfarne Gospels exhibition at the Laing Art Gallery. Strikingly well-presented it was, too.
