Hi I too am a Canadian....not so very far from you...I am in New Brunswick. I own a K-m and love it....I too learned my way around a camera on a K-1000...manual. They wer made in the late 70's...and they have one of the best lighting meter that was ever made. I still love mine!
I await to see some of your photos.....hope the fog lifts and the rain goes away and you get to see the sun for the REST of the summer!

Congrates to all the winners....Ahh my date...well believe it or not , just two weeks ago I fixed the year on my camera from 2008...to 2009..so no fault of the judges...my exacted date is not correct and I did the picture for the shadow comp...!!!
Do not feel bad...It is enough for me to have been told that my photo was very liked and I could have had the prize....It was all so very very fun
First place, means a lot of pride and then the work of adjudacating the photos of the "Masters and Pro Masters" when, you yourself, is, 'jes a amature photo snapper'!!!....second means you can brag and no work...third means you can smile all day hoping that someone will ask you why you are smiling...then you get to tell them.
Oh well...as I said, when I won third place in comp on "Fruit", my camera read 2008...well I never owned it until may 2009...so I will FIX it once and for all.
Thank you Aiki for all your work at trying to retrive 'the dates' Elscott's was also taken just for the contest...he was away on vacation and unable to answer his messages Don't cry Scott...another time perhaps!!
