Congrats to the winners....

I was just ready to enter mine, and realized this closed at 6pm instead of midnight.

Thats okay....Mine was the clock on my stove...
Here lets have a look...and a laugh!

Glad we did not hold up the competition for that!!!

I absolutely love the idea of BEST 2010 photo. I say YES INDEED!

All of this is full of fun, and in fun...so why not let us submit our best of 2010!!

Regards, As Ever, Judithann

Hey...do not worry about there not being as many entries. It is coming into a busy season, and all entries are down in all the competitions. It will pick up come into the new year...just wait and see!!!

In the voting comps...I have gotten second again and again...so now it is time to take FIRST!! Here I go!!

welcom and enjoy

Thank you all again. I called Scott today and I am hoping that he will respond to you all soon.

Oh yes we all noticed that, but it(the cigarette) was removed before he submitted it. The photo has been made into a poster, and will be used as tourism promotion...so ya, that teenager a puffin would not have gone over very big. As for medicare Pauly, here in Canada all our medicare is free, whether you smoke or not.LOL

I did not have a copy of Scott-Isaac's final submission, only a copy of what he had on the camera's SD card.

He might be the youngest member, however I do remember another young lad and saw a few of his photos. He was asking for opinions on them for a school project. I am sure that elscotto has been the youngest judge to judge the fortnight...He judged number 41 childhood memories. And won number 40 with another photo of the same shoot. He shared this win with his school and received lots of congrats, but he just to young yet, to join the high school photo yearbook club. he is a brilliant young man with multi talents. it will be exciting to see where he branches out. i know that his love for photography will be a part of him always!

Hey David.....guess I am kind of proud

Thank you everyone. He already has a user name and password. In fact he has already won a fortnight comp here, and judged. He is in school, of course, so time is not his own.

I do not have any plans on buying him a DLSR as of yet. Even though I know that he is very gifted in photography, truth is he is still an impulsive child. I do not think he could care for the camera well.

I live 3000 miles from him, but when I visit it is for long stretches, and we do lots of shooting together.

Perhaps when he reaches his teenage years, we will talk about ownership.
He is a delightful young man indeed!

he will enjoy reading all the comments, I am sure.

It is the robin for me!!
The crispness of that shop is amazing.
Not that the moon was not also impressive.
It was indeed!!

it is number one for me too! Wonderfully done!!!

Hi everyone.

I wanted to share a story and a photo. This summer my grandson (he is 11 years old) and I went on a photo shoot. His home town in Alberta Canada had a contest seeking pictures of the town.

Armed with Nana's K-m Pentax, he shot this wonderful photo; which is of the skate board park with some teenagers hanging about. Scott-Isaac, know on the site here as elscotto, won First Place and $300 Canadian. He has been taking photo with a Pentax since he was 4 years old.

No; he did not buy his own Pentax...much to Nana's dismay, rather bought the newest and coolest Ipod thingy???

Hi.

Tim is it a picture that you ave taken of a bulletin board that was lit up, or is it a photo shop job that you did?

Sorry that I do not know, but I am interested to learn.
