Tesco by me has Sandisk Ultra 15mb/s 4GB for Ģ9 odd
I have a couple of them from when I first got the DSLR, because I couldnīt afford all Extreme (class 6). I think I paid about the same for the Ultras back then, Iīm pretty sure theyīre discontinued now. Theyīre a little slow but not bad.

Iīve never formatted an SD card in or outside of the camera, and never had any problems.

There are a lot of fakes going around that are marked as Sandisk so with any public review you must keep that in mind.
Yeah, but I would hope the stock that Amazon get is 100% legit. I think most of the reviews there are posted from people that bought the cards on Amazon, rather than elsewhere.

Either way, Iīm happy with my choice, though it cost me more. Iīll sleep better knowing I donīt have a cheapie, though I may be a flash snob...

In the end I went for the Extreme version. Itīs double the price, but at the end of the day the class 4, despite itīs 4 & a half star rating, amongst itīs nearly 1266 reviews (wow!) it has 131 1-star reviews that basically say the card didnīt work. Thatīs too much of a risk for me & I donīt want to risk losing photos or having to spend double getting a card in an airport where theyīre much pricier.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Does anyone know if there is a quality/durability/reliability difference between the two Sandisk types?

There are or have been various extreme & ultra incarnations from Sandisk & they change frequently. The ultras & Panasonics I have are only class 4.

Hi everyone,

I need to expand the memory for my K200D for an upcoming trip on which I expect to take a large number of photos. I currently have a collection of class 4 & class 6 4gb SDHC cards, mostly Sandisk, a couple of Panasonics. I always stick to the top-notch brands for security & usually buy the "better" (faster, more expensive) Sandisk models.

I want to add a 16gb card but canīt decide between the Extreme (class 6) or the standard "blue" model, which is only a class 4. I havenīt used the blue ones much, are they as reliable & good quality as the extremes & ultras? I know that a class 6 does work faster in my K200D, but in this case the capacity is more important than the speed. Is the extreme really worth more than double? Links are below.

Many thanks

You were only there 3/4 of a day? Iīll be there for 2 or 2 & a half & worried about not seeing much! Wow, 700 photos is a lot, I think Iīll need to invest in some more SD cards for this trip...

Nice series. The M50 1.7 is a great lens, though Iīll be taking my 1.4 version when I go to Cambodia in a few weeks

Better than most series of photos taken at Angkor, you photos seem to confirm what I suspected - that there are so many small details worth photographing.

Iīd be interested to know how many photos you took in your time there? I have concerns over the amount of memory to take.

Did you use a tripod by the way?

Iīd say that looks extremely well done. The car definitely pops out. Iīve been meaning to try this technique for a while (with either my 85/2 or 50/1.4) but I havenīt gotten around to it yet. Must do it soon (but need to find some free stitching software).

Iīve never seen an example done at "just" f/2.8 before, theyīre usually faster lenses used, but your results are very good. What will your next subject be?
