Amazon have now equalised the SRS price. I'm not sure if Pentax goods bought from Amazon will have a one year guarantee or two though. Anyone?

The MZ-3 is very rare and hence expensive. The only difference compared to the 5N is 1/4000s max shutter speed instead of 1/2000s.

I have two MZ-5Ns and they are very nice cameras to use, aside from being plasticky. The viewfinders aren't the best though - no focusing prism of any kind and not the biggest or brightest, but they are usable with manual lenses.

If you want the best viewfinder possible then get an MX. If you want something with a bit more automation or a bit cheaper then the ME, ME Super, P30 or P30N - all have viewfinders almost as good as that of the MX.

I don't know if this is a Pentax initiative or a WEX photographic one, but they're offering £70 cashback on the K3. Body-only price comes to a total of £749, certainly the cheapest I've seen it.

I have the Tamron 117-50 and it's very good indeed, but a lot of people report focusing problems so I'd strongly recommend going to a place that has several and trying until you find one that's ok.

I have problems in low light with my K200D, but the problem is not ISO as I use bounced flash, it's that the camera can't focus

Yesterday it was there, though they had no stock. Today it's gone, though the "S" version is still there, though not much cheaper than the K3 now.

So I'm guessing stocks are finally running out, which is a shame because for months it's been the best bargain amongst APS-C DSLRs.

Christmas is coming....

I want a bundle with a grip though...

The 14mm f/2.8 is discontinued but can be found used - I think there's one for sale here at the moment.
