I am selling it because I have accumulated too many lenses of a similar focal length, including two other 50/1.4s.
The lens is in E+ condition, with a little external wear and some internal dust, though the biggest piece is right in the middle (see last photo below) though it has no effect on image quality. The lens works perfectly - focusing is buttery-smooth, the aperture ring moves and clicks nicely and the optics are good, though a little dusty as stated. This is a very nice lens, solid and compact with very good image quality. It has been de-yellowed in the sunshine. It comes with original front cap and third-party rear cap.
An area of black paint has been scraped off on the mount (not visible when the lens is mounted) to allow contact to be made with the electrical contacts in the lens mount. This allows Av mode to be used much more accurately on a DSLR.
I am asking for £65 delivered, payment by bank transfer. Please note that I am currently abroad in Spain and I would prefer to post the lens from the UK when I'm back at the end of December. I can post earlier at extra cost and I would need to check that insured delivery is available.
Thanks for looking.

The exception is the one with the blood drops in the air - as B&W it's not clear what it is, the colour is important in that one.

I am selling it because I have accumulated too many lenses of a similar focal length.
The lens is in E++ / mint condition, with no external marks and very little internal dust, if any. It works perfectly - focusing is buttery-smooth, the aperture ring moves and clicks nicely and the optics are in great condition. This is a very nice lens, solid and compact with very good image quality. It comes with third-party front and rear caps.
This is the version two of this lens (identifiable by the lack of silver ring on the barrel). It has the superior optics of the "A" series lens but the build quality of the "M" series, so it has the best of both worlds.
I am asking for £40 delivered, payment by bank transfer. Please note that I am currently abroad in Spain and I would prefer to post the lens from the UK when I'm back at the end of December. I can post earlier at extra cost and I would need to check that insured delivery is available.
Thanks for looking.
Plenty of favourable reviews can be found in the links below. I have included both "M" and "A" series links as the "A" is more relevant due to the optics.

I would also consider a swap for a D-BG5 battery grip for the K3.

I am selling it because I've accumulated too many lenses of a similar focal length.
On a DSLR this lens provides an angle of view similar to a 50mm prime on a film/FF camera (actually around 55mm) making it a good fast standard prime. It's also compatible with K and M42 mount film cameras of course and can be adapted to many other mounts (mirrorless, Canon EOS etc).
The lens is in mint condition, there isn't a mark on it, and it has virtually no internal dust, which is very rare for a lens of this age. It works perfectly - focussing is buttery-smooth, the aperture ring feels fantastic to use and the optics are perfect. It's a great lens, extremely solidly built but compact and producing very nice photos (see below). It's a real pleasure to use. It comes with original front cap, a third-party rear cap and the original leather protective case.
I am asking for £100 delivered, payment by bank transfer. Please note that I am currently abroad in Spain and I would prefer to post the lens from the UK when I'm back at the end of December. I can post earlier at extra cost and I would need to check that insured delivery is available.
I would also consider a straight swap for a D-BG5 battery grip for the K3.
Thanks for looking.

I am selling it because I've accumulated too many lenses of a similar focal length, though this is the fastest so I will miss it's huge aperture.
This lens provides an angle of view similar to a 50mm prime on a film/FF camera (actually around 45mm) and is one of the very few options available for a really fast standard prime on a Pentax DSLR.
The lens is in E++ condition, little short of mint. It works perfectly - AF is fast and requires no AF compensation, the focusing ring is smooth, the optics are perfect. I can see no external marks or internal dust. It comes with original hood and both caps. I forgot when I was taking photos earlier that I have the original box, papers and protective case for the lens (all in great condition), so there are no photos of these but they're also included.
It's a superb lens, capable of producing pictures with the fabled 3D appearance at wide apertures. It's very solidly built and looks very handsome indeed on a camera.
I am asking for £220 delivered, payment by bank transfer. Please note that I am currently abroad in Spain and I would prefer to post the lens from the UK when I'm back at the end of December. I can post earlier at extra cost and I would need to check that insured delivery is available.
I would also consider as partial payment a D-BG5 battery grip for the K3.
Thanks for looking.

What surprised me most was that the K-S1 seemed substantially more solidly-built than the K-50. It has a much smaller grip but still felt good in my (quite large) hands. The K-50 is easier to hold onto though.
