Bump. This is one of the best manual 50mm lenses around.

I didn't know it had been designed by Ken Grange who was lectured us when I was a student
Ugly but cool

My "wish I hadn't sold it" was a lens: Pentax M42 50mm F1,4 (SMC I think but not at all sure!) that I bought s/h in the early 70's for my old Edixa Prismat (which I still have!)
I have one of them for sale in the classifieds if you're tempted...

I had a little camera as a child, it used some weird format that's no longer available but I can't remember which. It was rubbish and I've no idea what happened to it. I only really got into photography a handful of years ago so I haven't had the chance to sell any cameras that might be missed yet.

I've just ordered a K3 and my other half is pushing for my K200D to be sold off, which I'm sure I would regret as it has been my first and only DSLR and has produced many wonderful photos for me.

That isn't a battery grip, just a lump of black plastic

The camera wasn't designed to take a battery grip
Wow, you're right, I hadn't realised. It seems you can have either a shutter button or a battery but not both.

I found this on ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dicain-PentaxK100D-Shutter-Grip-SG-2-K100D-LCD-screen-Pr...

It can fire the shutter but you need to add an external connector (included) to do so, but still better than nothing I suppose. I've no idea how the quality will be.
