By the sounds of that you definitely live in an area where WR is important, so this package should be ideal.

Maybe your shed wasn't WR.....

The 100 macro is a DFA lens - it's entirely FF compatible.

Interesting that there's very little there that's FF compatible...

Wish I could take advantage of some of these offers

I think most of the weight difference there will be in the lens rather than the camera. Fast zooms are always big and always heavy, that's the price you pay for them unfortunately.

Excellent news - Katzeye seem to have secured a deal with another company to buy them, so the plan is to stay open and maybe even expand the range of cameras for which they make screens. Hopefully this new company won't interfere negatively with the running or pricing structure.

The K2 is lovely, I've just bought my second. Unfortunately, they both have problems that require a full and expensive CLA to fix. With age they jam up inside and the shutter doesn't close. I'll have to bite the bullet and send them both for that CLA. Don't buy one unless you're willing to do the same, or you can be 100% certain that it's had a CLA fairly recently.

Cloudy here in Madrid. I had to remove the 10-stop ND and just use a 4, even then the shots I got were very poor with all that cloud in the way.

Wow, I paid more than that just for my 645 body with no lens. Enjoy - it's a great camera (and a great lens too).

I spent a couple of days fighting this too. After making the changes you need to go into the menu and save them under the custom settings. The camera won't save automatically. Be careful because all three "spaces" will be available - just because you're on #3 doesn't mean it will only allow you to save #3, it will quite happily let you over-write one of the others.

So a 10 stop ND isn't enough? I was thinking aout stacking the ones I have, which would be a 10, a couple of 4s, and a 3. No good?

The longest lens I'd have available would be 150mm.
