So, could the software supplied with the K7 be used to achieve the same with RAW files from another camera - a K20D? Anyone with a K7 tried it?

Optical triggers = my words for the light-sensitve slave type switches that respond to the main flash and trigger other flash units plugged into them.
I take the point about using older lenses and flash units on manual, but I'm looking to use my DA lenses.
As to where/when I would want to use all this kit together, I suppose it could be described as 'studio'. My thinking is to use the 36PZF on or close to the camera, with the 2 x PE-3057's at the side or rear of the model.
I like the suggestion of wireless (as in RF) devices. Presumably the transmitter is a camera operated hot shoe mounted device (or connected via the X-sync socket) and each of the flash units has a receiver attached.
I have a flash meter that I would then need to use with the set up to determine corerct exposure via a series of test shots?

The following web site describes one way of doing this (it's for a Canon, but the principles will apply to a Pentax K20D):

Are there any other views/suggestions about correcting zoom lens focus errors?

I did some print test on my camera k10d lens 18-55mm and on a t-pod with remote realise and I've defiantly go a problem with my focus. i was getting only sharp in the centre of the shot but at f32 i expect all of the focus screen to be sharp ?
So i went to manual focus and it was like my eyes had been cleaned
what i would like to know where is the focus adjustment in setting/debug mode

Seems a lot of members have gone down this route, so you should get a lot of very helpful advice here

The camera and lens are as new, no marks or scratches. The body has 763 shutter actuations recorded; kit lens not used, but has been on/off body.
Both camera and lens were bought new in late January 2009, so nearly 4 months warranty left.
£200 inc. postage in UK.
