Is the lens still under warranty? If so, Cameraworld are obliged to help.

If out of warranty, who are the importers? Maybe they could assist?

PLM per your all kit shot? If so, I'd take it immediately, but suspect it's not.

Yep, I should have said, the Ricoh pin problem, afaik, only applies to non Pentax lenses. The Ricoh reference goes back to film days when they made lenses. This has become a generic description; it also affects other lens makes.

But, you need to watch out for the Ricoh pin problem, which I know of but not in sufficient detail to fully explain, so hopefully another forum member can expand.

Essentially, with certain lenses, the pin that operates the lens aperture can drop too far into the hole where your camera's screw drive emerges and stop you removing the lens.

Before putting any of your older lenses on your K50, make sure you won't suffer from this issue. Research it, and/or wait for expert guidance on this forum.

Don't overlook eBays fees.

Park Cameras buy used kit, as does SRS, who will also sell on commission for you.
