The limitation is that only one sample of a lens is reviewed. There will be some variation between samples, and reading the user comments recognises this. The WR version has the same optics as the non WR version, so should be the same, subject to any variation between individual lenses.

Practising some basic astrophotography, Sue added some impromptu red lighting by pointing her red torch in the wrong direction at the very moment I started this exposure. Still, I quite like it.

Old threads never die, they just patiently wait!

The ME Super pentaprism was coated with silver, much brighter than the Aluminium used by many other cameras, including the lower cost ME series bodies.

The Pentax 6x7 viewfinder is pretty amazing as well.

With more film being shot, perhaps someone will find this filter leaflet useful. It came with a pentax filter, is a thin semi-transparent tissue paper and would have been issued in the Spotmatic days or earlier. Still, the function of filters does not change, so it is relevevant.
