I was in the Camera World store in Chelmsford ( Essex,England) on Tuesday and they had piles of new K10D kits for under four hundred quid about £395 I think. I'm sure you could just ring them and buy one new I don't know what postage would be like but ask them. This is the kit so you get the lens too.

I can't imagine you'll get a new one much cheaper or even 2nd hand.

I'm afraid I don't want to buy this lens as I allready have one but I would say that this lens is a real quality replecement for the standard kit lens. I've had mine since it came out and it's a real gem. Looks like a good price too.

Hi Dan thanks for the reply, I used to have an MZ5 before ( not the N model ) and I liked it's size etc. It was my main film camera until I dropped it with an F 50mm F1.7 lens on the front onto concrete while it was out of its case. Lena and camera kaput, you should have seen the state of the lens. Does it have any of the following case, strap and eyecup ? I really liked the case that came with it ( well cost about £50 as far as I can remember). I am interested depending on whether you have any of those other bits as well and can haggle a bit on price or part exchange, I have lots of other bits too, cheers John McD.

I've had the chance to buy an MZS a few times but each time I tried it I wasn't convinced that it was up to much compared to the Z1 / Z1P and each time I didn't buy it. I just want something a bit smaller than the Z1P for going on holiday with. I'd be just as happy with an MZ-3 or MZ-5 probably. I might see if anyone has one of those for sale. I would have an MZ-S if it was £100 but probably wouldn't pay more than that but I might swap as I wouldn't have to lay out any cash.

I'd rather part exchange it for an FA20, this one is mint as far as I emember but it is the "M" lens that I use quite a bit due to it's small size and wide view on the DS. The colours from this are lovely. If I was going to sell it I'd probably want £150 but I'm not there yet, thanks for replying, cheers.

I'd rather swap / part exchange for a telephoto, replace like with like. It's arguably the best lens I have, well at least as far as build quality goes. Idealy I'd want an 85mm F1.8 but Pentax have never made a reasonably priced lens in this range, well not autofocus anyway.

I'm not desperate to sell but if I did I'd probably want about £350 as it's like new and is arguably much better than it's successor. Not sure about selling it though. Thanks for the reply, cheers.
