Hi Chris,

Roughly what would a mint boxed DA 35 f2.4 be worth on Part/ex?

Any deals on off Brand this year - I notice the Sigma 35 1.4 Art is on deal in other countries for Black friday as is the Tammy 70-200?

Also any thing on the FA 35mm f2 or the DA 35mm f2.8 ?
The Sigma 35mm Art is going to be on offer, but only in Canon and Nikon fits. This is a Sigma decision as it's a funded offer.

Nothing happening with Tamron officially, but I might be able to offer a little bit off - this is still being worked on.

The FA 35mm F2 is going to be £319, saving £140 (code pentax35) and the DA 35mm Macro is also going to be £319, saving £180 (code pentax35macro)

These codes are active now. Stock of the FA 35mm should be with me later this week, whilst we've got stock of the DA 35mm Macro ready to go.

PayPal guarantee would apply then as long as it was put through as sale of goods and not gift.

That's about section 75 credit card protection.

My point is a wider one by paying by PayPal for goods and not as a gift as many people ask for. Therefore you are protected by distance selling regulations.
All sales on here are private and distance selling regulations don't apply, besides Robbie lives in Ireland

Am I looking at the wrong thing all this time? When I click on the user name and showing his portfolio, it still shows his last log in as 27th April 2017 - 09:49? Am I living in a different timeline?
No, I looked yesterday and you are correct.

If you read my post I didn't give any 'duff advice' I never even mentioned section 75 as I know it doesn't apply, you're the one who brought it up. Not that it's something a financial adviser actually needs to know or deal in.

I have widened the point above though as to why you might want to use that method. Distance selling rules and to ensure payment hasn't gone through as a gift which would negate PayPal protection.

Thanks for the aggressive responses from yourself and alergenon though it's reminded me why I had stopped bothering with these forums.

You'd think a financial advisor would know when and when not section 75 of the consumer credit act applies and not give duff advice about his specialism. Professional, not!
So maybe Algi, you're right. The weblink in his profile links to his business site, not a photo site as others here do.
