I have had 35 mm film SLRS all me life and only 2-3 years ago got a k100d , forgive me if this is s foolish question, but what is the advantage of full frame ? ...jeff... Edit I just looked at a bit on Ken Rockwell's site called the full frame advantage( I think ) now I under stand what the fuss is about .... ho humm... jeff

Yes that is what I thought , and then Yves made me hopeful . I bet you got a good show up in Scotland , what sort of setting and kit are were you using Mike ? and alien were you able to catch any from you airborne vantage point .... jeff...

So when you press it in against the spring it won't pop out at least 10 mm and therefore clear of the door like on my K100 ? If thats the case my big farmers hands don't have a chanceI think if I had a k7 /k5 I'd leave the card in it.... jeff....

So how many times do you take the card out? I just hook up the camera to the computer with the cable, one just lives in the camera the other is a spare 2 gb ,that gets used if I'm away from the computer . Is using a card reader faster or better ? and why have Pentax changed from the press once and release method that just about anything that uses sd cards has... Eye-fi sound cool ,what sort of range do they have ?
