Only pentax items i have left now are an *istD body, zx-l film body and a sigma ex 2x converter.

I have now sold all of my Pentax AF lenses and accessories which leaves me with two SLRs in the cupboard that now have little to offer me so need a new home.

Pentax ZX-L (US version of MZ-6) (tech details: here)

I bought it in September 2003 from Adorama in the US and it has literally only had 4 films through it before I switched to digital in May 2004. At the time, only the MZ-S was a higher spec in the MZ line up and this camera has a number of top features including wireless and high speed flash firing, 1/4000th of a second top shutter speed and a complete set of shooting modes. It also has the uncrippled KAF mount so will take all the manual lenses.

It has the dateback Fg fitted and comes with the strap, body cap, hot shoe cover, viewfinder cap and rubber, and a 4AA battery grip Fg + original boxes for both. Unfortunately I have not been able to find the instructions for the camera.


I also have a Pentax *istD body for sale with box, instructions and strap. It is used, around 10,000 shutter actuations, but is in good condition and all works fine.

It is difficult to gauge what is a reasonable price to ask for as there are not many up for sale and the ZX-L is as new, so I am going to suggest £100 for the ZX-L and £150 for the *istD, but I am open to offers.

In a strange twist of fate, despite being in the process of selling off most of my pentax kit, I now find myself in possession of a brand new K7 and DA* 16-50.

I had made a claim on my insurance for the repair of my 16-50 following a fall on to a concrete floor, along with the camera it was attached to at the time.

They decided that it was unrepairable and that the minor crack in the camera body was also beyond economical repair so under the new for old terms I have been sent a new K7 and 16-50 as replacements.

As I am now actively transferring over to one of the other brands I have no need for these.

They have come direct from Warehouse express and were delivered this morning. I have only unpacked them to test they both work so they are as new with all included accessories.

I am looking for £1,400 for the pair or £750 for the camera and £650 for the lens if sold separately.

If you pay by bank transfer I will cover the postage, if you want to pay by Pay Pal I will charge for the postage (next day special delivery with sufficient insurance) to partly offset the pay pal charges.

Just to update the details on a few items.

It would appear I do not have the box for the 50mm after all.
