There are some ex Railway carriages to rent actually on Dungeness itself. Don't know more than that but a call to the Pilot my prove useful. (Dover is quite a way and not the 'best' place to stay)

Sorry John - but it does seem to have opened the floodgates of confessions!

By the wy John - how come I am a 'Site Veteran' - been looking at my birth certificate??

Let us not mock the afflicted!
Few years ago we had scaffolding around the house and I thought great to climb to the top to take some panoramas'. Windy and wet, so rattled a few off and climbed down - only to discover I didn't have a Card in the camera.

Sory Gartmore - I pushed that bid up to £4.20 before I realised I didn't need it
Actually what I was looking for was a replacement for the rubber grip at the front of the battery grip, which I thought was integral.

As a proud owner of an SFXn (from new), I have to object to the tag ‘PUG’!!!! Ok it’s a little rugged and I remember when it was launched the reviews called it ‘military looking’, but sure enough it’s a great camera and stood up to a lot of abuse when I was chasing round the Solent snapping racing yachts (long before the days we all got tense about WR).

George is right it’s very easy to use and as for the Q from Womble, yes it has compensation, via a slide switch on the top left of the body – what could be simpler

Didn’t I see that Dangermouse has recently started playing with an SFX? So perhaps we may get feedback from that direction. (What is the difference between an SFX and SFXn)?

George.

Do you mean you don't say AN Hotel!!! Shame on you.

Thanks flossie - got it and thinking what it means - or not

Um Lance, when I clicked on your link it didn't lead anywhere except what looked like the Babel Home Page???

Hey Guys - I mentioned the Optio 750Z - Nobody seen one? I have owned one must be ...years since it came out. Nothings fallen off. It gives 360 viewing unlike the Nik and has good readibility.

Hope terje-I is right. Maybe Hoya are reconsidering what their core business are.
