Dungeness is quite a drive from Dover and its a very small place with a Power Station, Lighthouse and train station for the light railway. There is a pub called the Pilot which is famous for its fish and chips but not sure about rooms. Great Stone might have BB's.

There are some ex Railway carriages to rent actually on Dungeness itself. Don't know more than that but a call to the Pilot my prove useful. (Dover is quite a way and not the 'best' place to stay)

I got the local Tourist Information office and get their recommendation. They have not let me down yet.

As featured in the Jacqueline Winspear novel "Messenger of Truth". I hadn't realised she had based them on real ones. There are some ex Railway carriages to rent actually on Dungeness itself...

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Not read that one. Trying to remember the other (modern) novel/short story also based there.

Doesn't have to be flash, just simple, clean, usable.
Suggestions welcomed
