Military looking....was that meant to be a compliment?

Well it is a very angular design, and I seem to think felt heavier than being just plastic. Sure, never as elegant as a Spotmatic, which, if anyone can remember, was the subject of one of the best Pentax Press Ads. ''No other Camera can shoot a Black Cat in a Coal Cellar'' (Or words to that affect)

Davem – as I said in my OP, I wanted to find out if others have had similar experiences. Anyway by now I would have thought (apart from John) some backroom person would have entered the Thread?

I am confused – Can any of you ‘Posters’ tell me what should happen. I get an email saying I have a Notification to a Thread. Click, then get a frame saying Notification being ‘reset’, then wait a while and sometimes get to the Thread. I seem to remember that I used to click the email link and went straight to the Thread??
It’s an issue I took up with the Mods recently, but couldn’t really understand their reply.

I don’t recall the SFXn being plastic : I used one for a long time and thought it really good. I seem to remember some of the reviews at the time said it was ‘Military Looking’.

Droop – I could be uncharitable and say most Sites will blame something other than the Site But seeing this Thread has been up a while without thousands of responses, it looks as if the problem lies my end (probably something to do with my deodorant )
BUT it would be good to get a Computer Techo to give some input – if any are interested

K10D - As a set, is there any price saving. Noted it is quoted in $$$, so not available here?
